residential care facility which provides an extensive range of services.
Banfields Aged Care is inviting volunteers the opportunity to become part of the
lifestyle program which is built around enhancing resident lifestyle.
Some of the ways you may like to be involved in is assisting with running programs, bus
outings, garden walks, wheelchair walks, bingo, happy hour, musical items, men’s
group activities, craft, spiritual, art/painting, celebration /theme days, BBQs, Group
discussions, Cards, and the list goes on.......

The Visitor Centre is seeking a customer focused
applicant for this full time position.
Specific duties include:
! Customer service
! Merchandise sales
! Retail sales of Visitor Centre products
! Conduct guided circuit tours
! Café service
The successful applicant will possess the following
! Excellent customer service
! Retail experience
! Strong computer skills
! Ability to work un-supervised and part of a team
(Tuesday - Saturday)
GO KART ATTENDANT
(Tuesday - Saturday)
The Go Karts are seeking a full time Go Kart Attendant to
assist with the day to day operations of the Go Karts.
Specific duties include:
! Customer service
! Track marshalling
! Kart maintenance
! Venue maintenance and presentation
A positive and enthusiastic approach is essential along
with a strong work ethic. Excellent interpersonal skills
and the ability to work under pressure in a team
environment is required.

WESTERN Australian visitors Angela and Gerard
Whelan took to the skies last week for a different look
at our beautiful and they loved what they saw from the
Theirs was just one of the great things we found visi-
tors doing over the Christmas-New Year break.
“The whole experience was fantastic!” they said and
especially for Angela whose one and only previous flight
was in being airlifted to a Perth hospital suffering a bad-
ly broken leg.
The start of the holiday season has been a busy one
for this Newhaven based operation with a steady stream
of passengers wanting to have an aerial view of the local
surrounds. While some have pre booked their flights,
others have enjoyed their Christmas gift vouchers or
have decided to pull in off the road and take advantage
of this unique attraction.
Favourable weather reports is a sign of things to come
for the helicopter crew who are gearing up for one of
their best seasons to date.

Things Holiday Park was a great way to spend their
day out on Phillip Island for the Barnes family of
Dandenong. (Back L-R) Dad Alan and family friend
Stephen Shaw with (in front) Samara, Harry and
Brylee had an action packed day last Wednesday be-
fore visiting the Penguin Parade in the evening.
Ready for a day’s swimming at their favourite beach on the foreshore at San
Remo are Melinda Weir (left) and her brother Caleb (right) of Surf Beach. These
children are making the most of the hot summer weather while enjoying time
out from school at Newhaven Primary.
Little Matilda Bester likes nothing more than
heading down to the Rhyll jetty for a spot of fish-
ing with her dad. Matilda is learning the tricks of
the trade and had already caught a pinkie when this
photo was taken last week.
The playground at San Remo was a popular place
for these youngsters when they had a family day out
on the island from their home at Wild Dog Valley in
Gippsland. Pictured in front are twins Madeline and
Harrison Russ with friends (at back) Amalia and Ev-
elyn and big sister Sienna Russ.
These three girls from Melbourne were enjoying their week long holiday at
San Remo and the chance to sit and soak up the sun along the picturesque fore-
shore. Left to right, Sienna Green with sisters Olivia and Chloe Delzoppa. They
arrived with their families on Boxing Day and were more than happy to be back
in their favourite holiday place. “We love it!” they chorused.
