THE Westernport Hotel in San Remo is welcoming
Bob Starkie of former Skyhooks fame to the big stage
on Friday January 15 from 9pm.

become ingrained in Australian music psyche.
Skyhooks were inducted in the ARIA Hall of Fame
and ceased touring together after the death of lead sing-

Bob ‘Bongo’ Starkie was in the engine room of the
Despite the decades since the Living in the 70’s re-
lease, he still believes the album is as strong today as
when it was released in October 1974.
To celebrate this iconic album, he has pulled togeth-
er some of the best musicians in the business – Lisa
Edwards on vocals, James Black on guitar/keyboards,
Steve Williams on sax/harp/vocals, Sean McLeod on
drums and Kim May on bass to relive this iconic re-
