The Longest Day is a Cancer Council challenge to play 72 holes of golf in a single day, while raising funds for people impacted by cancer.

The Phillip Island event will be at Red Rocks Golf Course on November 10.

A $10 donation will get you breakfast and a drink, then you hit the course.

If 72 holes sounds like a bit much for you, players can register for the Long Day (36 holes) or the Longer Day (54 holes).

Sean O'Brien, manager at Red Rocks said the club was excited to support the event, with the day starting at around 7am with breakfast.

He said using the online link (www.longestday.org.au/fundraisers/redrocksgolfclub) people can donate to an existing team, "or create their team and join the fun".

"We are also more than happy for people to give us a call and we can help them over the phone - 03 5919 0019," Sean said.
