The island’s B Grade came out strong. The girls were moving the ball well down the court and converting their goals getting up 11-4 in the first 10 minutes.
Coralyn turned the corner scoring six in a row heading into quarter time. Cora Lynn kept their momentum and the game was goal for goal.
After swinging a few girls around in the mid court, it paid off in the third quarter, scores 33-33.
In the fourth quarter the island came out firing, shooting five in a row, with the shooters working perfectly together.
Lucy’s voice down in defence guided the whole team and Maddy lead the fast-paced midcourt, taking the island on their way to a win.
