Close call for U13s
1 min read

The island girls were buzzing with excitement for their Saturday clash against Kilcunda Bass.

The girls started off well, with six points going their way in the first quarter to Killy Bass scoring eight points.

With the likes of Macy Piera, Alice and Charlee Pederson as goal shooters, there was no stopping them.

The three pocket rockets in the centre and wing defence Piper Nicolaci, Frankie Jess and Ivy Addison intercepted their little hearts out.

It looked like the girls were back on track, scoring seven goals in the second quarter.

Unfortunately, however, it was a remarkably close call but not close enough to take home the win.

Best on court: Piper Nicolaci and Ivy Addison.

Scores: Kilcunda Bass: 26 def Phillip Island: 23.
