This Sunday, April 14, at 12pm, the Phillip Island Tennis Club will be hosting their Family Day event marking the 70th anniversary of the club.

There will be activities for kids of all ages including not only tennis, but also colouring, a "Find It" challenge, face painting, guess how many tennis balls, quoits and hookey.

Activities to participate in alongside the adults will include service speed radar, a ball machine rally, one-point tennis games (with 1950s racquets), four game doubles and a 1950s music quiz.

Admission is free - but in keeping with a 1950s theme - you are asked to bring anything you would like to drink (coffee, tea and water will be provided) and a plate of 1950s style finger food for everyone to share.

The club will also provide a sausage sizzle.

The afternoon will finish with a cutting of the anniversary cake, some social tennis and some reminiscing amongst those attending.

For further information on the day's activities, and some hints on 1950s style finger food check out the Phillip Island Tennis Club's website at play.tennis.com.au/phillipislandtennisclub

The club hopes to see you there!
