Reserves Men
With a few players out the Reserves Men knew it was going to be a tough game.
After defeating Leongatha last week, Gatha bought a much younger team with them to play and they were full of run.
Although the Breakers had a lot of the play, they were unable to capitalise with goals as most shots once again went straight to the Gatha keeper or over the crossbar.
Half time score Leongatha 3 to Phillip Island 1.
Coach Calum Golightly instructed the team to have more composure, two goals down they needed to dig deep.
The second half the Island men came out a different unit banging four goals past the Gatha keeper whilst Leongatha only managed to score once in the second half.
