A Tough Day at Leongatha

U15

The U15's match in Leongatha saw Phillip Island take on IK Blue Whales.

It was a difficult game from the get-go for the Island team with IK only allowing Island to score two goals to their four.

The remainder of the match was much the same despite the best efforts of Island defenders to intercept anytime IK fumbled.

There were falls and flying shoes as both teams were trying their hardest to keep possession of the ball in the fast-paced match.

IK ultimately proved to be the better team on the day.

Best on court Rose Iverach and Anna Dixon.

In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the netball courts at Leongatha witnessed an enthralling match between Phillip Island and Killy Bass Under 13's teams.

The game unfolded over four intense quarters, ultimately culminating in a hard-fought victory for Phillip Island, as they secured a three-point win.

Phillip Island managed to secure an early lead with a flurry of well-coordinated plays from India in G.A and precise shooting from Verity in G.S, ending the quarter with a score of five points to Killy Bass's two.

In the second quarter Ava in WA showcased remarkable teamwork through the centre along with Scarlette in WD intercepting passes, paid off for Phillip Island's attempts to widen the gap.

Killy Bass displayed an impressive offensive surge but Frankie's determination, speed and skilful manoeuvres alongside Georgie in C whose smart positioning as always, kept Killy Bass behind by five points.

As the final quarter unfolded, the tension in the air was palpable, Killy Bass, determined to turn the tide, mounted a valiant comeback effort.
