Adults camp out in October

This October, adults from across Victoria and interstate will be travelling to Bayview Adventure Park in Grantville for a weekend of adventure activities, campfires, entertainment, great food, all-inclusive drinks and, most importantly, genuine connection.

The camp which runs from October 30 to November 2 is organised by Afterhours Camp, founded by Abi Carter.

"After spending years working at camps, I saw the incredible impact they had on children-the confidence they gained, the friendships they built, and the memories they took home. It made me wonder... why should kids have all the fun," said Abi.

"That simple question inspired me to create Afterhours."

She said the camps are an opportunity for adults to reconnect, make new friendships and experience camp all over again, describing the experience as "a reset button for the soul".

Abi says the benefits aren't just for those attending the camp.
