Aldred's mobile office back on Phillip Island
Ms. Aldred also visited Woolworths in Cowes.
Federal Member for Monash Mary Aldred MP was back in Phillip Island last week, hosting another mobile office.
Since the federal election, Ms Aldred has continued to hold listening posts and mobile offices across the electorate, so that local residents can provide their ideas, feedback and requests for assistance in their hometown.
"Cost of living, fixing our roads and pushing the Phillip Island Rec Reserve project along were chief among the issues raised with me, and I'll continue to do everything I can to support them," said Ms Aldred.
Ms Aldred also visited Woolworths in Cowes to meet with retail staff ahead of the busy summer season.
She was given a tour of the store and said she discussed challenges presented to retailers by anti-social behaviour, as well as looking at new anti-theft measures.
"As we head into what can be a busy and stressful time getting everything done by the end of the year, it's important that local small business owners and retail staff don't bear the brunt of unreasonable or unacceptable behaviour just trying to run their business or do their job," said Ms Aldred.
