The last significant increase to Candowie Reservoir was on July 15, 2024, when the storage increased by 134ML from 2676ML to 2810ML. Recent rainfall has soaked into parched soil, but it is now hoped the reservoir will start to increase following a year of drought. Candowie has hovered about 43 per cent capacity for several months, thanks to supply from Melbourne. (File photo).
