Another great team effort for U10s Red
Captain for the week was Miller Sund
Round 9 saw the pups back at the kennel in perfect conditions to take on Wonthaggi.
Captain for the week Miller Sund gave the team their final instructions and it was game on.
The first quarter was an arm wrestle with Louis Brodie leading the way applying pressure to the opposition.
Kash Scheibel was straight into the thick of it, charging into packs and firing off handballs to teammates.
Ziggy Wagner kicked truly from distance after some great team play to get him the ball.
We started the second quarter under pressure, but the backline stood up time after time lead by Zaine Liddell.
The way the pups move the ball around the ground picking out teammates is super impressive and improving each week.
Lenny Nolan was everywhere in the third quarter and managed to snap a goal that sparked the team into action.
We had plenty of opportunity to score but couldn’t quite get the ball through the big sticks.
Wonthaggi came out firing in the last quarter kicking a few quick goals, but the team never dropped their heads and kept trying to the final siren.
Another great team effort and it is great to see the continual improvement.
