Another petition on San Remo wombats

San Remo's wombat protection group is calling on Bass Coast Shire Council to reassess off-leash rules on the back beach to protect the wombat population.

While camera footage has been recording dogs visiting wombat burrows in San Remo over the past 15 months, the Phillip Island and Bass Coast Dog Owners Association said there had been no dog attacks on wombats.
