Residents and visitors to Phillip Island last Friday morning would have spotted this large tanker anchored just off Cowes.
The Harbour Master for the Port of Hastings confirmed the ship was the Aqualoyalty and had anchored off Cowes while it waited to berth at Esso, Long Point on September 24 or 25 to load crude oil for China.
Other ships expected in the Port of Hastings (and visible from Phillip Island) this week include the RollDock Sun (next stop Henderson) and the Arago (next stop Lyttelton).
