They've put together a huge lineup of bands from Gippsland and Naarm for all fans of explosive live music. Now in its third year, Arockalypse always delivers the goods.
With great vibes over two stages, you can rock out till late in the evening and beat the wet winter blues off with the drumsticks of nine bands, featuring: Riff Raff, Super American Eagle, Foggy Notion, Hogwash, The Alley Stranglers, Ozone Street, Lost Atlas, Blue Sabbath and Jungle Jim Smith
The Riff Raff take you back to 1976 Bon Scott era Acca Dacca - loud, raw, rock n roll. Featuring Melbourne's cream of musos led by Willie J & the Bad Books front man plus members of Thunderstruck, Hot Machine, Serotonia and Tequila Mockingbird.
Melbourne power trio, Super American Eagle deliver manna for heavy rock fans craving detours into noise, psych, pop and sludgy dank, herbal grooves. A union delivered via chance, Brent DeBoer of The Dandy Warhol's, Dave Mudie from the Courtney Barnett band and Bob Harrow of Immigrant Union, played an impromptu Immigrant Union NYC show as a three-piece. That night the chemistry was undeniable and so Super American Eagle took flight. From a lightning moment of musical connection Super American Eagle have built thrilling, fuzz-filtered songs that deliver both on stage and record.
The band's recent debut album was PBS's album of the week as well as being spun by the Godfather of punk, Iggy Pop on his BBC radio show ... Iggy even sang along over the track.
Foggy Notion originally formed in 2016, when Maxine Fink and Shyam Carroll moved to Melbourne with the intent to form the best band they could scrape together in the big city. The result is a unique group now known for their driving rhythms, high energy live shows, blunt lyricism and country image. Now, as a five-piece, Foggy Notion have played with bands like Drunk Mums, Bananagun, Black Bats, Mesa Cosa and their fresh blend of 60s garage rock and country is a welcomed addition to the Melbourne rock scene.
Hogwash is a rowdy group of rock n rollers hailing from the swamps of Melbourne. With a southern-fried sound so good it will make you want to slap your mammy, Hogwash let their freak flag fly at any opportunity.

The Alley Stranglers are a crusty bunch of punk rock surfies from Phillip Island who prioritise a good time more than a long time. With musical chops reminiscent of Pennywise and Mudhoney combined, their energetic tunes capture the spirit of good times and freedom. Strictly no acoustic guitars allowed!
Ozone Street is not just any band; they're a vibrant force on the local music scene. Comprised of a dynamic group of 20-somethings, Ozone Street brings a refreshing blend of vintage blues and surf-inspired melodies that transport audiences to sun-soaked shores and dimly lit blues bars.
Alt rock/punk band Lost Atlas delivers ear candy to satisfy your cravings for 90s inspired distortion and filthy riffs. Never taking themselves too seriously, Lost Atlas shows are high energy and a ton of fun.
Blue Sabbath is the world's first post-apocalyptic steampunk blues two piece Black Sabbath tribute band. They crank a lap steel guitar through a Marshall Stack and attack the drums like a machine gun. Sliding back in time from the year 2099 where the 2030 global financial collapse brought the world to a technological standstill still, armed with only their grandfather's record collection and primitive instruments, the lords of the Apocalypse make their debut performance at Arockalypse 2024.
Armed with a three-string cigar box guitar, trusty six-string, and stompin' foot drums, Jungle Jim Smith is a one-man-blues show with a rock'n'roll heart. Delivered with a raw vocal croon, his electrifying blend of swamp and hill country blues pumps with rockabilly grit, forging a full-band sound uniquely his own. Last year's seven-track debut 'Electric Boogieland' was released to a great response, with a follow up album planned for 2024.
