Aurora Australis information sessions - 3.30pm

Phillip Island photographer Peter Fogarty is holding two free Aurora Australis information sessions at the Phillip Island Community and Learning Centre (PICAL) on October 17.

The sessions will run at 3.30pm and 6.30pm.

Peter explained that while the Aurora Australis can’t usually be seen here with the naked eye, a good quality camera can catch its wispy colour spectrum, magic and mystery, filtered through the earth’s atmosphere.

The workshops will cover how to find information about when an aurora will likely be on show, camera settings and will also hopefully include an expert explaining just what the southern lights are.
