Award winner Ben

Ben Fisher, formerly of the San Remo Hotel took out the Local Legend award as this year’s AHA Victoria State Awards for Excellence.

The Local Legends award acknowledges outstanding community service and achievement within the hospitality industry by certain individuals.

This year, Ben, now at The Middle Hotel Korumburra was honoured with the title of Local Legend of the Year.

The awards were presented on May 15 at Crown Palladium.

The Westernport Hotel and San Remo Hotel were finalist in several categories.
