Ayden's a state champ

Competing in Life Saving at the Junior Victorian State Championships at Warrnambool, Ayden took out first place in the beach run over one kilometre.
Across the weekend, Ayden competed in a total of 11 events, finishing State Champion in the beach run, and making the finals for many of the other events.

Also competing for Woolamai Beach SLSC was Ryder Evans of Cowes, who competed in five events, securing a place in the semi-finals for beach sprint and beach relay.
The Junior Victorian State Championships marks the end of the competition season for Ayden and Ryder, who from next year will transition to the Youth/Senior competition.
