Backbeach Road Speed limit

Backbeach Rd heading east towards the Penguin Parade is signposted at 100 kph near Pyramid Rock Rd and is reinforced with another 100 kph sign near Berrys Beach Rd. 

It remains at that speed until it terminates at the “T” intersection with Ventnor Rd.  

However, once you leave the Penguin Parade and turn off Ventnor Rd to drive down Back Beach Rd and travel west towards Newhaven, it is signposted 80 kph and remains at that limit until Smiths Beach.   

Same carriageway, with same road and weather conditions.
