Banfields - a big thanks

Robyn Montague, Lifestyle Team Manger at Banfields Aged Care has paid tribute to one of the organisation’s most valuable volunteers.

“This is Gillian Scobble, our all-round volunteer. She is versed in many areas of the facility having been with us for many years now,” said Robyn.

“Over the years Gillian has run many and varied activities for our residents, from a garden group, to poetry reading, singing, brain games orienteering, walking, knitting and so much more.

“During Covid Banfields relied heavily on Gillian to deliver pastoral care, emotional support and lots of TLC to our residents who were missing their family members,” continued Robyn.

“As I have often said we couldn't do our jobs so well without her support.”
