Barry Plant Phillip Island and San Remo is proud to welcome highly respected local real estate professional Bec Anderson back to the industry.

Bec returns in a dedicated leadership and mentoring role designed to support agents, strengthen performance and ultimately deliver even better outcomes for clients across the island and surrounding communities.

With many successful and award-winning years of industry experience and a reputation as one of the region's most respected real estate professionals, Bec's appointment represents a significant investment in people, service and the future of the business.

Unlike many traditional sales management roles, Bec will not compete with agents for listings or sales.

Instead, her focus will be entirely dedicated to mentoring, growing and supporting team members, helping both established and emerging agents strengthen their skills, improve performance and continue raising the standard of service delivered to clients.

Barry Plant Phillip Island & San Remo CEO Jodie Hanssen said the appointment reflects the business's commitment to raising standards across every aspect of the customer experience.

“Our goal has always been to build a business known for integrity, honesty and genuine investment in our people,” Ms Hanssen said.

“We firmly believe when you invest in your team, clients benefit through better communication, better advice, better service and ultimately better results.

“Appointing someone of Bec's calibre to focus 100 per cent on supporting and developing our people is unusual in a regional marketplace.

“Many real estate businesses have directors or managers competing alongside their own teams. Our strategy is to invest in helping our people become even better because when our people improve, our client’s benefit.”

Clients

Ms Hanssen said the investment is about far more than recruitment.

“While Bec's appointment creates an incredible opportunity for both new and experienced agents, the biggest winners will be our clients and community.

“Every additional skill learned, every lesson shared and every sales deal completed under Bec's guidance will ultimately result in a better experience for the people who trust us with some of life's biggest decisions.”

After taking time away from the industry to focus on family, Bec is excited to return in a role where she can share her experience and help others succeed.

The appointment creates a unique opportunity not only for those considering a future in real estate, but also for experienced agents looking for greater support, professional development and growth.

“Experienced agents rarely get the opportunity to work alongside someone with Bec's level of knowledge and proven success every day, who exists in the business solely to support them and help them improve,” Ms Hanssen said.

“Whether someone is new to the industry or already performing at a high level, having direct access to coaching, mentoring and support from one of the region's most accomplished agents is incredibly valuable.”

Vision

Combined with industry-leading systems, dedicated operational support and well above average commission structures, the business believes this appointment further strengthens opportunities available to both current and future team members.

The Barry Plant Bass Coast network now spans four offices across Cowes, San Remo, Wonthaggi and Inverloch and continues to invest heavily in technology, training, systems and, most importantly, people.

Ms Hanssen said Bec's appointment was another important step towards the business's long-term vision.

“We're not interested in growth for growth's sake,” she said.

“We're interested in building great people, creating great careers and continuing to raise the standard of real estate across Bass Coast.

“For anyone who has ever wondered whether real estate could be the right career for them, there has never been a better opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.

“Equally, for experienced agents looking for support, development and a business genuinely committed to their success, Bec's appointment creates something very special.

“But most importantly, our clients can be confident that we are continuing to invest in the people who represent them.

We believe our community deserves exceptional service, and that means continually learning, improving and finding ways to be better tomorrow than we are today.”

As the business continues to grow, Bec will play a key role in developing the next generation of real estate professionals while helping ensure clients continue to receive the exceptional level of service Barry Plant is known for.

Bec Anderson, far right, is welcomed back to real estate by Barry Plant’s Gouri Chatterjee, Fiona Treloar, Hayley Stephenson, Mirade Clarke, Christie Spargo, Jodie Hanssen, and Kristina Walters.
