Bass Coast CEO resigns
Ali Wastie has resigned to take on a new position as CEO at the City of Greater Geelong.
Less than a year into a new contract, Bass Coast CEO Ali Wastie has resigned to take on a new position as CEO at the City of Greater Geelong.
Her last day at Bass Coast will be July 28.
Ms Wastie signed a new contract in August 2022, which was due to run through until February 17, 2028.
Bass Coast Shire Council released a statement announcing the CEO's departure and said it will soon start a search for a new Chief Executive Officer and will move quickly to appoint an interim leader and begin a formal recruitment process to find a permanent replacement.
