Beach Energy - Off shore gas consultation

Community consultation is currently underway on environmental impacts from an existing Bass Strait gas field, which includes Phillip Island's south coast.

Beach Energy is undertaking a five-year review of the Bass Gas Offshore Operations Environment Plan for ongoing production operations for the Yolla gas field in Bass Strait.

Commercial production of gas from the Yolla field started in 2006 and could extend to 2030, or finish earlier.
