The Kinetic sparkling wine Jeremy is holding has been especially produced for the occasion, with all profits from the evening going to Free 3D Hands.

Ocean Reach Brewing and the Phillip Island Winery have teamed up to create a feel-good 'Kinetic' beer and bubbles event, as a major fundraiser next week for Phillip Island charity Free 3D Hands.

Mat Bowtell, founder and CEO of Free 3D Hands develops and supplies 3D assistive devices to people in need across the world at no charge, and 100 per cent of the profits from this fun and family friendly event will go toward Mat’s vital work.

To be held at the Phillip Island Winery, in Berrys Beach Road Ventnor, from 5pm on March 17, live music, Kinetic beer and Kinetic sparkling wine, yummy food and auctions and raffles will feature.
There will be $20 pizzas, cocktails available, and a barbecue for the kids outside.

Last year Ocean Reach Brewing raised $22,401 for its 3D Hands fundraiser, and this year Alex Bismire, of Ocean Reach Brewing, plans to raise the bar higher this year.

“This year is going to be even bigger than before,” says Alex.

“Fellow local producer, Phillip Island Winery, is joining us for this very worthy cause and have produced a Kinetic Sparkling wine specially for the occasion. They have generously offered their stunning venue for this fundraiser, as well as their donation of profits from the night.”

Alex said the event also aims to create greater awareness of the ground breaking work that is carried out at Free 3D Hands, including Mat’s latest development – the supply of a kinetic arm which is light and durable, and works on a muscular basis through elbow motion.

“We want to unite our community for this fundraising event and encourage further innovation in the field of assistive technology.”

Mat and his team will be present on the night, demonstrating the great work that Free 3D Hands is doing.

Matching Mat’s enthusiasm for the incredible work he carries out, Ocean Reach has created  a new beer, Kinetic Hazy IPA , sitting at 6.25 per cent (Mat’s lucky numbers) describing it as “so hoppy it could punch you in the face”.

“This feel-good beer will be a ripper of an IPA using US hops for that fresh hit,” said Alex, and the beer makers will be present on the night to talk about it.

The Kinetic beer and sparkling wine will be available for purchase on the night, plus combo packs of beer and wine will also be for sale.

100 per cent of the night’s profits will be donated to 3D Hands.

Tickets can be booked at www.trybooking.com/CGFVP at $10 each or $30 family ticket (2 adults and 2 children).
