Big battery officially switched on
The $10 million, 10MWh lithium iron phosphate battery on Gap Road will help replace diesel generation previously used to power the Grand Prix and peak summer season. Officially switching on the system is Minister for Energy Lily D'Ambrosio (orange high vis), with MP for Bass Jordan Crugnale and battery engineers.
