The Longboarders competition was held at Summerlands where competitors were sheltered from the wind.
There was some serious rock dodging going on out at penguin point as surfers battled with the low tide which started to fill in and so did the waves.
Stand out was Andy Burgan, with 30 years' experience on the point paying off, taking out the Men's.
Ebony Maier surfing graceful as always, taking out the Open Women's.
Mark Letts with his powerful turns dominated the oldies, taking out the style masters and Sonia Seuren styling her way through to take out the mixed Juniors.
