During the first two weeks of January, Phillip Island Boardriders Club (PIBC) Committee and members led by President Hannah Eisen got busy, and completed the final stage of their Clubhouse renovation, with a brand-new exterior paint.

Also coordinated by Shaun Baigent of Painter Bass Coast Pressure Cleaning, the PIBC team prepped and painted the entire exterior of the building.

The new paint job has been completed in time for a new year and many events such as the club's January Speciality Twin Fin event, February's Patagonia ocean film night, and in March the Longboard Cat Bay Classic event.

Focusing on inclusivity, PIBC create these events to cater to a wide range of surfing abilities and social members.

While PIBC's weekly yoga classes helps to improve surfing performance and teach mindfulness techniques.

The renovation and the program offered by the club has come together thanks to the vision, dedication and passion of its president, a final task before Hannah departed for a new life in Western Australia.

She was ably assisted by the commitment and effort of the club Committee and PIBC members.

A special thanks to Emily Scott, Natalie Van Der Hayden, Jo O'Reilly Stubbs, Tim Anagnostou, Andrew Lidsey, Chris Rennie, Jake Eisen, Keith Richard, Dannielle Baylis, Helen Kelly, Kellie McDonald, Dominique Salerno and Dumpy all lending a hand to prep, coordinate or paint.
