Bulldogs into five grand finals
History could be in the making with an incredible five PIFNC teams winning their way into WGFNL grand final matches.
History could be in the making with an incredible five Phillip Island Football Netball Club teams winning their way into WGFNL grand final matches to be played at Koo Wee Rup this Saturday.
Of the ten grand final football and netball matches played on Saturday, Phillip Island is represented in half of them.
After two consecutive heart stopping one-point wins in the final series to get to the grand final, the Bulldogs senior footy side take on Inverloch; the Under 18s come up against Inverloch as well; and the Under 16s will battle for premiership glory against the Warragul Industrial side.
On the netball front, our Under 17 girls take on Korumburra in a rerun of last year; and the Under 15s will play for the 2023 flag against Nar Nar Goon.

The success achieved on the footy field and netball courts this year is not unprecedented, but if our players bring five premiership cups back over the bridge on Saturday afternoon, then history will indeed be made.
PIFNC president Chris Ross, speaking on Monday, said he could not be prouder of the island’s football and netball players for their commitment to the club this year, and thanked the army of club volunteers who have supported them.
The good wishes of the entire community go with PIFNC and its players as they head over the bridge on Saturday to do battle for Phillip Island.
Go our Bulldogs! Bring home those flags.
