Calls for koalas to be reintroduced to Phillip Island
Koalas were "once abundant" on Phillip Island and in some states they are now listed as endangered. Friends of the Koalas is calling on Nature Parks to use two parcels of land on Phillip Island - which were designated as koala habitat - to help repopulate the species.

Calls for koalas to be reintroduced to Phillip Island

Phillip Island should use two dedicated parcels of land to become a "safe haven" for a healthy koala population, according to the Friends of the Koalas (FoK).
