Camp in for a great cause

Beachfront Holiday Park in Cowes recently raised over $700 for Camp Quality.
On July 30, Camp Quality ran a Camp In fundraiser across the country to raise money to help give kids a break from cancer.
The NRMA holiday park jumped on board and manager Daniel Rutter and his team organised the fundraiser which included a super barbeque.
“Our staff cooked two big briskets and a sausage sizzle. We sold the food and donated all the money to Camp Quality,” Daniel explained.

“Local businesses donated prizes such as meat packs, vouchers, candles, and jewellery. We even had a local hairdresser from ''Do with a View'' donate her time, braiding, cutting and colouring hair for the kids. This was all raffled off for the charity.”
On top of that, NRMA donated 50 per cent of all site fee to Camp Quality – from all their camps. With 50 camps across Australia, the donation was over $70,000.
Back on Phillip Island, Daniel said the event was a fantastic success and he praised the efforts of the team.
“All of the staff got involved and camped out for the night. It was great to see everyone pull together for a great cause.”
