Carols by Candlelight returns to San Remo

The San Remo/Newhaven Lions Club will once again present Carols by Candlelight on December 16, on the San Remo foreshore after two years of covid cancellations. 

This traditional community event starts at 6pm, when Father Christmas will arrive on his fire truck with lollies for the children, followed by a carols singalong with the Wonthaggi Brass band and items from both the San Remo and Newhaven primary schools.

The San Remo Kindergarten will also present a number and an old friend of carols, Bern Carrol, will again be on stage with several of her favourite Christmas songs. A new addition to the carols line up, the group “Algorythm” will also contribute to what will be a special evening.

So why not keep Friday December 16 free, bring a picnic tea and blanket to enjoy a carols evening on the foreshore lawn.
