Hundreds of locals attended the Country Fire Authority open day.

Leading senior constable Nick Carlson said many people who attended the open day were concerned about the rise in youth crime. He said the police message was prevention: "lock your doors, don't have your keys or bag in sight, put up sensor lights, alarms and even a camera as deterrents."
