CFA volunteers take on toughest climb

Volunteers Anita Reid, Alex Dickson and Alex Szutta will climb 28 floors up the Crown Metropol Hotel with 25kg of kit – full gear and breathing apparatus – on Saturday September 10 to raise money to fight depression, PTSI and suicide.
So far the trio have raised a combined $1700.


The 9th Annual Melbourne Firefighter Stair Climb will see career and volunteer firefighters from across Australia and the world compete, aiming to raise $600,000 for Lifeline, Fortem Australia and the 000 Foundation.
So far Portland CFA in western Victoria is at the top of the fundraising leaderboard with $5510.
