Championship battles under light
This week's Phillip Island bowls results.
On Friday night, with the new green's lights turned on, the club held the Ladies' singles, the Men's singles and the Men's B grade championship finals.
This was the first time the new lights have been used for a completion and by the comments received from the bowlers and spectators it was great success.
The standard of bowling by all the competing bowlers was exceptional and with any competition there can only be one winner.

Ladies singles Champion: Beb Hyslop, runner-up Robyn Dennis.
Men's B Grade Champion: Gary Storer, runner-up Jim Murray.
Men's singles Champion: Russell May, runner-up John Matthews.
