Choir opens conference

Local Phillip Island singing group Sisters and Misters performed as part of the opening ceremony at the National Conference for Inner Wheel Australia in Cowes last week.
The audience really enjoyed the performance and ended up singing and dancing along.
“It was wonderful to see some of the gentlemen in the audience lend a helping hand by performing to make up for the missing Misters,” said choir leader Irene Bennetts.
Sisters and Misters is in its fifth year on the Island and now have in excess of 70 members.
They have just recently returned from a winter break to get ready for this performance along with many of the Christmas bookings they have in December.
