Community support program open

Westernport Water is pleased to announce the opening of applications for its 2023-24 Community Support Program.

The program aims to empower local communities by providing financial support for events, activities, and projects that promote the themes of healthy people, healthy communities, and a healthy planet.

Community groups, schools, kinders, not-for-profit organisations, committees of management, and sporting clubs from within our service area, are invited to submit their applications under two sponsorship categories. The submission period is from June 1 to July 31, and applicants will be notified of the outcome by the end of August.

With a total commitment of $35,000, Westernport Water aims to assist the local community, eligible clubs, and not-for-profit groups in delivering impactful activities and events.

If you represent a local organisation with projects aligned with our community's well-being, we encourage you to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to create a positive difference.

Dona Tantirimudalige, the Managing Director of Westernport Water, expressed the organisation's commitment to the importance of supporting initiatives that contribute to healthier individuals, stronger communities, and a more sustainable environment.
