There are beaches where you can walk your dog on a lead, like Isabella and Scout. There are also several designated off-leash beach areas. Find out where, by downloading the “Where Can I Walk My Dog” guide.

Isabella and Scout, Ryan and Grouse love walking on the beach. Look out for beach signage at the entry of your local beach or reserve to find information about dog regulations.
By Phillip Island Nature Parks
Phillip Island’s beaches and reserves are for everyone to enjoy. We are lucky to be able to visit many of these areas with our dogs and we thank you for sharing our shores with hooded plovers and short-tailed shearwaters.
Look out for beach signage at the entry to your local beach or reserve. These signs tell you how to share our shores with important safety information and dog regulations.
You can help by:
• Keeping dogs on a leash in on-leash areas and under control on off-leash beaches.
• Keep to paths at all times.
• Read and observe all signage including temporary notices on the beaches and walk close to the water’s edge where possible.
• Download the “Where Can I Walk My Dog” guide at www.penguins.org.au/about/local-community/news/walkingyourdog/
