Construction of the Phillip Island Croquet Club Pavilion underway
new Pavilion in the Blue Gum Reserve
Members of the Phillip Island Croquet Club are excited to witness their new Pavilion in the Blue Gum Reserve gradually taking shape.
The Pavilion is being constructed by well-known Wonthaggi building company, TS Constructions, for the Bass Coast Shire Council with funding provided by the state government and a contribution by the Croquet Club.
As well as amenities for the Club, the building will also contain a much-needed public toilet for users of the Reserve such as members of the public, dog walkers and Frisbee golf players.
The planning and construction of the Pavilion is such that it gives public access to this toilet directly from the Reserve.
The Pavilion is expected to be completed in June 2022 and the Club will then be in a position to encourage more members of the community to learn how to play the great game of croquet – a game for all ages.
