Cottosloe transformed; new café to enjoy
The Cottosloe Milk Bar has long been a special part of Cape Woolamai.
The Cottosloe Milk Bar has long been a special part of Cape Woolamai.
Built in 1969 as the area's first shop, it served generations of locals grabbing milk, hot chips, and meeting friends after a day at the beach.
The shop has undergone a transformation, thanks to the local Fostin family, who have created a bustling and welcoming café.
"As a local family who grew up just around the corner, taking on this space means everything to us," said Mia Fostin, who is running the new café.
"We're proud to continue its story - creating a welcoming place for the community to eat, sip, relax and connect."
Since opening in February, locals have flocked in to enjoy their coffee, burgers and home baked treats.
With a breakfast menu, excellent selection of toasties, burgers, poke bowls, salads and special kids menu, there's something for everyone at Cottosloe.
The café is open seven days a week, from 8am to 8pm.
