A special council meeting was held last week, so councillors could approve the draft annual financial report and performance statement.

Councillors' allowances rose to $418,000, up from $374,000 the previous year and CEO Greg Box continues to be paid in the $350,000 - $359,999 wage bracket, while there was a four per cent increase in employee costs.
