Crackdown on rambling gardens

Bass Coast Shire Council have distributed notices requiring homeowners keep footpaths and road reserves clear of residential plantings.

Crackdown on rambling gardens
Bass Coast Shire Council is asking "residents prune any overhanging branches from trees growing on their property to maintain a clearance of 2.4 metres above footpaths and reserves". Also "other vegetation such as small shrubs and creepers must not extend past the edge of the property".
