Dance performances sell out

Phillip Island Dance Studio finished off last year with two sold out performances.
The performance included a Peter and the Wolf ballet narrated by Dame Edna Everage and choreography works of energetic jazz with moving contemporary and lyrical pieces.

The ever-popular preschool class also delighted audiences, performing in their own morning concert.

"It was a great way to celebrate our 23rd performance, at Berninneit in Cowes," said Phillip Island Dance Studio's Rowena Campbell.

"The hard work of the students showed through their technical improvement and beautiful dance quality and musicality plus the joyous smiles of performing on stage."

Phillip Island Dance Studio offers a range of classes from a specially designed preschool program from 18 months of age, through to adult ballet and an over 55s ballet movement class.

Offering jazz, contemporary, modern and lyrical dance as well as specialising in classical ballet with a pre pointe and pointe program for school aged students, classical classes are complimented with live piano.

The school offers fun and creative classes with qualified dance tuition that focuses on age appropriate and safe dance practices for both recreation and for students wanting to pursue dance vocationally.

Classes resume on February 3 in Cowes.
