Delicious CWA birthday bake sale
The Country Women’s Association of Victoria is celebrating their 95th Birthday in March.
The CWA are proud of its long tradition of uniting women to bake for important causes. Across Victoria branches are baking scones in the Great Scone Challenge and are hoping the community can help them beat the 2022 record?
The Phillip Island Twilight Branch have been “cooking up a storm” in the lead up to the birthday celebration.
The CWA will be selling their delicious homemade cakes, sponges, biscuits, preserves and scones at the St Philip’s Market from 9am on Saturday March 25.
CWA Phillip Island Twilight will be serving Devonshire Teas in the Parish Hall and delicious fare will be found in their beautiful new marquee in the church grounds.
Scone orders can be placed by phoning Sally 0409 521 825. Six plain scones are $15.
All funds raised will be lovingly donated to women and children in need in our community and the scone drive funds to CWA Victoria to assist women and children across Victoria.
