Dog guidelines released

Councillors at the July meeting voted for the final Dogs in Public Places Guidelines 2026-2029, following community consultation in April and May.

Dog guidelines released
The new guidelines state once a new or amended dog control regulation has been prescribed at a site, council will focus on educating and raising awareness, as well as undertaking regular patrols and enforcement activities.
