Doggie donations roll in
Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association donated dog food and a new trolley to the San Remo food pantry. The Dog Owners regularly donate pet food to the pantry.

Local dogs owners made sure any dogs in need enjoyed a happy Easter, with a delivery of dog food to the San Remo food pantry last week.

The Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association (PIBCDOA) regularly donate pet food to the pantry, but last week one special donation came rolling in.

After learning the pantry volunteers didn't have a trolley to help them move donated goods, the PIBCDOA bought and donated a trolley as well as dog food.

"This is what we spend our membership fees and donations on," said a spokesperson for the association.

"We pay it forward."

The San Remo Food Pantry is open every Wednesday between 10am and 1.30pm, at St Augustine's Anglican Church Op Shop on Marine Parade.

All are welcome, no questions asked.

You can join the Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association on Facebook.
