Dogs keep it clean
Local dog owners will be out at the beach on Sunday, March 3, taking part in Clean Up Australia Day.
The Phillip Island Bass Coast Dog Owners Association has organised clean up sessions at the local dog beaches, with a volunteer at each beach to assist in Clean Up Australia Day.
“We will advise people of the meeting time and start location via our Facebook page, as we get closer to the date,” an Association spokesperson said.
“Or just pop down to your favourite dog beach and you’ll see us in our Dog Association hats.”
The locations will include the 24/7 off leash area at Ventnor.
“We are not expecting much rubbish as our off-leash areas are kept very clean, particularly Ventnor, which has our highest volume of regular users,” the spokesperson said.
