Then why not pop down to the weekly Monday Cowes Community Meal at St John’s Uniting Church on Chapel Street, Cowes.
The two-course menu starts at 5.30pm and includes groceries to take home provided by local shops including Aldi, Bakers Delight and Coles.
The idea for the community meal came in 2016 through a bequest, following the death of local resident and member of the congregation Vi Marshman in 2014.
