The planned removal of dust suppressant from streets in Cowes west and Rhyll has officially been paused until April 2026.

After 2023's Surf Beach and Sunderland Bay scheme for 1000 properties was abandoned following a bruising two-year campaign, a special charge scheme will now go ahead along The Esplanade between Sunderland Bay Road and Batman Street, Surf Beach.
