Education celebration across the generations

During Education Week, Newhaven Primary School held a special day to celebrate 150 years of Victorian public education.

Students’ grandparents were invited and there was a massive turn out.

The special visitors attended classrooms and saw what school is like now, as well as sharing their own memories.

The visit finished up with a lovely morning tea.

“We loved having our visitors at school and thank them for spending time with us,” a Newhaven Primary spokesperson said.
