Better facilities are on their way for students at Powlett River Primary School at Dalyston, with the appointment of a builder for the school’s important upgrade.
State Member for Bass Jordan Crugnale recently announced Modus Projects has been appointed to deliver a much needed new and modern amenities block that better supports accessibility and hygiene.
The State Government has provided $495,665 to go towards this project.
The Victorian Budget 2022/23 invested $41.8 million in the Minor Capital Works Fund to improve learning spaces as well as the condition and character of schools.
Schools have been allocated funding to fast-track priority projects under the Minor Capital Works Fund to improve learning environments as well as the condition and character of schools.
“Every student should have a great school with modern facilities no matter where they live or how big the school. That’s why we’re investing in hundreds of these small-scale projects that will make a big difference for schools like our much loved Powlett River Primary,”Ms Crugnale said.
